Welcome to Lylu, an AI-assisted bedtime storytelling experience crafted by Foundry App Studio. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle parent and child-related data in Lylu, and supplements the general Foundry App Studio Master Privacy Policy.

1. Who This Policy Covers

Lylu is designed for families. Parents or guardians create and manage accounts. Child profiles are created under the parent account so stories and preferences can be personalized. We treat children’s information with heightened care and design the product for a safe, ad-free storytelling experience.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to operate Lylu:

  • Parent Account Data: Identity and authentication details from our sign-in provider (e.g. name, email, and account identifiers) so parents can sign in and manage the family account.
  • Child Profile Data: Profile fields such as display name, age band or date of birth, interests, theme preferences, and reading/listening progress that parents configure for storytelling personalization.
  • Story & Usage Data: Stories created or requested, playback and routine preferences, and product analytics needed to improve reliability and content quality.
  • Diagnostics: Crash and performance telemetry (where enabled) to keep the app stable. We do not use children’s profiles for advertising.

3. How We Use Information

  • Authenticate parents and sync family profiles across devices.
  • Generate and deliver age-appropriate stories, narration, and bedtime routines.
  • Provide parental controls, subscription status, and customer support.
  • Improve product quality, safety, and reliability.

Lylu does not show third-party ads in the storytelling experience. We do not sell children’s personal information. Foundry App Studio does not sell, rent, lease, or broker personal information to data aggregators.

4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Lylu is intended for use by parents with their children. Parents create child profiles and control the experience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or marketing purposes. If you believe a child’s information was provided inappropriately, contact privacy@foundryappstudio.com and we will investigate and delete relevant data promptly.

  • In-App Controls: Parents can manage or remove child profiles and account settings from within Lylu.
  • Email Deletion Request: Email privacy@foundryappstudio.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and your account email. We will purge associated account and profile records within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

We may update this page as Lylu features or regulations evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use of Lylu after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
